Colour has been used cleverly to make a focal point of built-in cupboards which conceal stereo speakers. High level storage like this is only practical for things which need little attention or are not often used. The frieze is made of strips of material, glued to wood panels beneath, in bright colours to catch the eye in an otherwise sober room.
