Clever use of colour and good arrangement shows how pictures of very different moods and disparate possessions can be grouped together to make a very satisfactory display. Here two modern abstract pictures from the basis of the arrangement topped by - of all unlikely objects - an old fashioned pendulum clock painted white with a mauve rim round the clock face. A painted plate, a primitive painting and a cobalt blue arrow shaped design combine perfectly well with the addition of a mauve and orange sunburst.
